Lead Medical Assistant Jobs

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 40 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a certified/registered Lead Medical Assistant to work at our East Norriton, PA office.
Please note, this position is entitled to a $300.00 sign on bonus.*
Responsibilities

• Performs most, if not all, level III MA responsibilities
• Makes patient phone calls to confirm appointments, reports all testing results, answers basic and more complex healthcare questions.
• Places patients in exam rooms, takes vital signs & basic health history, updates EMR
• Also may perform stress testing, holter monitoring, ambucor, warfarin monitoring, as well as other testing. Note: under the guidance and discretion of the individual physician.
• Develop and oversee department schedules
• Is Certified
• Works the prescription refill voicemail line.
• Coordinate day to day workflows of department
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in hiring, training and reviewing performance of staff
• Performs EKG's

Requirements

• Must be familiar with various cardiology related procedures such as: stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, Holter monitors, etc.
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Must be well spoken, friendly, and outgoing
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus

• If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
