TPD is currently looking for an Explosives Blaster in the greater Atlanta region to service clients in Georgia and Alabama.

What You Will Be Doing

• Check and perform blast design
• Operate equipment on smooth and rough terrain
• Conduct thorough pre and post-shift safety inspections of mining equipment
• Perform all aspects of surface blasting including, but not limited to loading production holes and/or pre-split, stemming, delaying, detonation, and blast inspection
• Maintain accurate blasting inventory of all explosive supplies
• Executing complete and accurate shot reports
• Maintain site security during blasting operations

What You Bring To The Table

• Strong understanding of blasting in Mining and aggregate space
• Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time
• Alabama Blasters License
• A minimum of 3 years of Blasting Experience
• Georgia Blasters License
• Georgia State Fire Marshall License is an Asset***
