Laundry Maintenance Mechanic Jobs

Southeast Texas HR is currently seeking a Laundry Maintenance Mechanic to join a local hospital's maintenance team in providing high-quality laundry services. The Laundry Maintenance Mechanic will work with a team of maintenance professionals to maintain and repair commercial laundry equipment, such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine maintenance and repair, as well as experience working in a hospital or health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Respond quickly to emergency equipment issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems, and be able to identify and repair any issues in a timely manner
• Work collaboratively with other team members and coordinate with other departments as necessary
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• 3+ years of experience in machine maintenance and repair
• Previous experience working with commercial laundry equipment preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain current immunizations
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
