Landscape Designer Jobs

The entry level landscape architect will support our Landscape Architecture + Planning (LAP) Department by providing research, design/construction drawings, and presentation graphics, while assisting in the advancement of designs to help realize our Client’s vision. A passion for design, an eagerness to learn, a collaborative spirit, and possessing exceptional communications skills are essential to be effective in this role.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with a degree in Landscape Architecture

• Working knowledge of native and adaptive plants

• Preferred proficiencies in the following: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcMap, Sketchup, and hand graphics

• Demonstrated ability to create presentation graphics utilizing electronic media using computer and/or hand generated sketches

Position Responsibilities

• Evaluating site conditions including infrastructure, access, environmental considerations, natural aspects, soils, and other factors impacting a site

• Interpreting jurisdictional regulations and applying them to projects

• Translate ideas from sketches and written/verbal instruction into complete and accurate working drawings

• Organize, prioritize, and independently perform work assignments

• Support multiple projects with deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
