We are seeking an established Distribution Channel Management professional supporting various distribution channel management activities and customer relationship management. Responsible for supporting the company's interests and establishing business relationships to enhance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing an annual district sales plan.
  • New England District Manager will be assigned to specific Channel partners and are solely responsible for their individual growth. Including Kidde and Distribution Partners.
  • Develop and promote strong product and application knowledge and apply it to the Channel partners, A & E Firms and End User customers.
  • Discuss sales and business issues, negotiate, and resolve challenges and conflicts with Channel Partners, and end user personnel.
  • Maintain inventory, schedule counter days and training as requested by our Corp Account Manager and Distribution partners.
  • Assist the Channel Partners in developing and implementing a successful business plan.
  • Responsible for providing sales expertise and appropriate resources to support Channel Partner sales force to reach and exceed target sales volume goals.
  • Meet or exceed the assigned district sale targets by managing Channel partners, National Accounts, Corporate Accounts and OEM Partners.
  • All National Account and internal leads will be provided to the New England Kidde District Manager and appropriate Channel Partners will be assigned.

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Keep in contact with Channel Partners for forecast updates and post results in Salesforce, for review by the Regional Director, on the 1st and 15th of each month. Travel as necessary for customer support, training, etc.
  • Generate opportunities for new channel partners. Add partners as required to bolster sales in underperforming areas.
  • Keep in contact with Channel Partners for forecast updates and post results in Salesforce, for review by the Regional Director, on the 1st and 15th of each month.
  • Attend weekly regional conference calls and provide current business news to Regional Director.
  • Work with our OTC partners to increase sales of the Kidde products that are sold through this channel.
  • Follow up on any highly important issues, requests for data, etc.
  • Work with Channel Partners to close available projects, call on consulting engineers, contractors, and end users.

Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Visit electrical and general contractors for market information and Channel Partner feedback.
  • Plan events, trade shows, calendar updates and travel schedule.
  • Complete Monthly Business Review report the first week of each month as scheduled by Regional Director.
  • Using known Opportunities, you must forecast and schedule revenue for a three to six month forecast outlook.
  • Maintain updates on current products and promotions.

Quarterly Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Channel Partner progress verse assigned quota
  • Quarterly forecast outlook/updates.
  • Keep track of key objectives (sales incentives, new products etc.)
  • Stay current on Carrier required online quarterly ethics training and certifications.

Full Year:

  • Complete customer additions and cancellations as necessary.
  • Evaluate current year business plan and modify for upcoming year.
  • District Managers will be reviewed as to the overall growth and success of their assigned Channel Partners.
  • Establish customer evaluations and quota assignment for upcoming year.

Willingness to travel up to 70% in assigned New England territory.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You must be willing to work out of a virtual office that is dedicated to your job responsibilities. On-screen camera for Zoom or Teams calls Office.
  • Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal, communication skills, basis computer skills and high energy level.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experienced in creating, managing and growing a network of distributors
  • Product and code knowledge and application usage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Technical savvy and the ability.

Pay Range:

$73,750 - $103,250 Annually
