Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior UX/UI Designer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in both user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design and a desire to learn and grow in the digital design field. You will be responsible for assisting in the creation of engaging and visually appealing designs that meet both client and user needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user feedback and metrics to make data-informed design decisions
• Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications
• Keep up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends and best practices to apply them in your work
• Assist in the development of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with client branding and project goals
• Participate in user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand and empathize with user needs and preferences
• Attend team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and project discussions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Double Up Digital's design processes and standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Passion for learning and staying current with design trends and technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong portfolio showcasing your UX/UI design work and process
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
• 1-2 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within a digital agency or in-house team
