High Volume Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Supply Chain Accounting Director and will work closely with the Accounting team. The position is primarily responsible for performing the accounting functions for Hiring Company, including compiling monthly reporting and assisting in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. This role will be a key member of a team that partners with the operating team to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the monthly results.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial information to evaluate reasonableness and accuracy
• Prepares select journal entries and account reconciliations
• Provides support to the accounting team and Hiring Company operating team
• Prepares account reviews
• Brings a customer service focus in support of field operations
• Assists the Director – Supply Chain Accounting with the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial information for Hiring Company

High Volume Staff Accountant Attributes

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and strong knowledge of other MS Office products
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to identify problems and explain the problems to members of the Accounting team
• Treats people with respect, inspires trust of others, maintains confidentiality of information, and operates with the highest level of integrity

High Volume Staff Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 2+ years in a corporate accounting function

The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $58,000 - $62,000.

This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
