Junior Graphic Designer Jobs

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to work across the organization to help us build and amplify our brand. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on designer with a passion for the intersection of health and technology and the proven ability to build successful teams and brands.

In this role you will:

• Support business development efforts
• Design print collateral, slide decks, e-newsletters, web pages, conference materials, e-books, and more
• Work collaboratively across the organization to support all areas with design needs: marketing, social media, research, business development, etc.
• Manage and complete all design projects creatively and efficiently
• Effectively present creative concepts to internal teams as needed with thoughtful rationale
• Help develop, evolve, and extend brand aesthetics and maintain a visual identity on all Inspire marketing platforms; work closely with the product design team
• Maintain knowledge of creative marketing trends and best practices

REQUIREMENTS/WHAT WE NEED:

• Knowledge of layout design, graphic design fundamentals, typography & limitations of print, and web/product design work
• 1-3 years of graphic design experience with a diverse portfolio of work
• Experience in branding, web design, and email marketing
• Possess a strong working knowledge of online and offline design, brand development, and the creative process
• Experience with Google Slides and/or PowerPoint
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to bring structured thinking to a variety of tools and templates
• Knowledge of WordPress desired but not required
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, self-direct, and take initiative/ownership of projects
• Ability to lead design projects from concept to completion
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for and understanding of digital trends and technologies, including best practices and emerging trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; articulate design decisions effectively
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and how to apply them in a digital context
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
• Experience with design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Desire to learn from your peers and apply your skills in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
