Static / Motion Graphics Designer

We are searching for a talented digital designer to create interactive online content, graphics for video, web, environmental and print. You'll be responsible for producing content matching our GPS client's vision and marketing strategy, including social media graphics, website banners, motion design elements and print material.

Reporting directly to the project's Creative Director, you will collaborate with a team of Government SMEs, videographers, copywriters, social and digital marketing strategists to conceptualize and deliver a collection of video and web content in support of a large-scale, influential marketing campaign. Work you'll do

• Design cutting edge motion graphics using AE to bring our videos to life - some may be integrated overlays with live action, and others may be full-scale animated videos
• Work collaboratively to establish an original creative vision at the start of each project (we're not just going to hand you a pile of assets and wish you luck), to include pitching original concepts, and development of storyboards and/or treatment books
• Create 2D and 3D animations from scratch
• Provide creative vision to the editing process, bringing your own style to create beautifully composed work

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience managing a small-to-medium-sized team of creatives
• Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• History of telling compelling stories through unique creative assets and visual interactions
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required
• A strong sense of editorial timing and direction
• Ability to work out of the Washington DC area on a regular / as-needed basis
• Experience working directly with clients to gather requirements, pitch design concepts, iterate on content, and deliver the final product (or similar relevant experience)
• Experience conceptualizing, creating , and animating motion graphics (Adobe After Effects experience mandatory)

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Designing and animating for 360 / immersive video content
• Ability to produce quality Web, Social Media, and Marketing Graphics
• Experience working on a Virtual Production set or sound stage
• Video Graphic production experience
• Experience creating & designing Motion Graphics
• Color correction experience
• Thorough understanding of the importance of organized and effective Online Content
• Cinema 4D, Blender, and more experience; knowledge of cutting-edge tools of the trade and a hunger to learn them.
• Experience editing video assets (Premiere preferred)
