Junior Business Analyst Jobs

Los Angeles Apparel is a nearly fully vertically integrated garment manufacturing facility located in the heart of South Central Los Angeles. We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, and data. No prior work experience is necessary. This is an entry-level position offering opportunities to learn about apparel manufacturing and warehousing in a fast-paced and rapidly growing work environment.

Applicants must be highly motivated individuals with critical thinking and analytical skills and be comfortable applying their knowledge across different domains. They must be ready to learn, exceptionally organized, and understand the importance of deadlines and schedules. Must either be pursuing or have a Bachelor's Degree with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and at least 2 references.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Develop standard operating procedures, process maps, and training materials
• Create reports and visualizations based on business requirements
• Run scheduled reports and provide ad-hoc reports, visualizations and analysis
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, systems, and documentation
• Coordinate systems implementation and optimization across all departments
• Continuously test and monitor the integrity of data throughout the company

Requirements:

• Passion for learning and teaching others
• Exhibits initiative, and grit, and possesses a strong sense of teamwork
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
• Detail-oriented and able to see patterns and exceptions in large data sets
• Advanced knowledge of excel - pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other key functions
• Strong data visualization skills
• Ability to work under pressure while managing many projects simultaneously

Other qualities that are a plus:

• Fluent in Spanish
• Knowledge and interest in project management
• Experience with visualization tools
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Interest in the apparel industry

This is a full-time position, starting rate is $16.04/hour with medical and dental benefits, 401k, and overtime opportunities. Cover letter is not required.
