Job Description

Our client is a start up bespoke custom footwear and apparel brand based in Downtown Los Angeles. As a Junior Accountant you will be assisting the Director Finance in overseeing the financial operations and planning of the organization and its counterparts.


Responsibilities:

  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc)
  • Experience with Payroll a plus
  • Assist with a complete and timely Month End Close, resulting in accurate Financial Statements (bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, journal entries)
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Shopify
  • Assist with Cash Flow Management
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Budget vs Actual Reporting
  • Experience with Inventory and Costing a plus
  • Basic understanding of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
  • Manage Accounts Payable bill entry and payment processing
  • Manage Accounts Receivable invoicing and payment application
  • W9 tracking for 1099’s


Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to conveying accurate and appropriate information
  • Ability to multi-task
