Jr. System Administrator (Remote Support) - St. Louis, Mo

Skills Required:

• Must be able to pass a government background check
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to work in a setting where majority of team is located at another site
• Industry-related experience as a Systems Administrator
• Must be located in the St. Louis, MO area and willing to visit the local office
• Strong organizational and written communication skills
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows machines (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 and 2016)
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM
• Must have valid passport
• Ability to travel at least 50% of job
• Experience with scripting and automation tools

Nice to Have:

• MCSE certification
• Experience with Microsoft Azure

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Coordination of computer maintenance with other Information Technology professionals through change management
• Monitor, enforce, and practice security policies, procedures and standards
• Provide Tier 1, 2, and limited tier 3 hardware and software support for all international and domestic field sites
• Monitor and track computer assets for international and domestic sites
• Provide documentation on hardware and software use, installation, repair, failure, and removal
• Decommission older PC, server and network equipment
• Setup of new PC, server and network equipment
• Travel to international and domestic sites, as needed
• Liaise with agency purchase and supply agents to fulfill hardware and software requests
• Facilitate vendor work on computer, server and network at sites
• Projects and other duties as assigned or requested.
• Provide end-user training when needed
• Package and ship PC, server, and network equipment to international and domestic sites
