Jr. Software Developer Jobs

The JMT Technology Group is seeking to add a Jr. Software Developer to our team. This person will be responsible for completing software development tasks of low to medium complexity under supervision as well as documentation of software solutions, as well as completing system and integration testing.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, business systems analysts, UX designers, and application developers to deliver high-quality deliverables
• Leverage mentorship and peer relationships to increase proficiency in development
• Perform development tasks of low to medium complexity across multiple projects
• Create and contribute to pull requests
• Perform integrations with third party solutions
• Train and test for industry certifications
• Identify, set, monitor, and achieve individual goals
• Support production systems as urgent and critical issues arise; including non-business hours support on a rotating basis
• Attend conferences, seminars, webinars, and/or on-line training on a regular basis to stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required Experience

• Computer Programming Certificate or equivalent required
• High School Diploma Required
• 0-2 years of experience developing software systems and integrating with third party solutions

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields preferred
• Experience with Microsoft’s Azure Technologies

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general hybrid office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
