About the role:

The Servicing specialist will work closely with other members of the servicing team as well as all departments across the company to ensure all incoming royalties and resulting overflows plus reporting are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner. This is an excellent opportunity for a team-player with a positive attitude to work in a fast paced-growing company in the music financial industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up of funds movement transactions in the bank and overflow payment systems
• Investigate royalty shortfalls and surplus
• Investigate missing royalty payments
• Month end reporting and reconciliations
• Assist with Audit information requests
• Ad-Hoc servicing reporting
• Backup daily royalty collection identification and classification
• Calculation of excess collections due back to customers
• Handle collection, overflow and statement inquiries from Royalty Support and Sales
• Communicate with royalty payors when required
• Entry/adjustment of daily transactions into all necessary systems
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and records
• Determination of cross-collateralization between customer accounts
• Assist Accounting Department when required
• Work closely with Operations regarding changes / updates to deals after funding

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel
• Prior experience working with CRM is a plus
• Time-management skills and adaptability
• Accountable, a self-starter, strong attention to detail
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external individuals to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results
• Experience in financial or banking industries a plus
• Strict attention to detail, highly organized, and efficient
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
