Jr. Financial Analyst Jobs

This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager and will prepare and process journal entries, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, deposit and apply cash receipts, client refunds and approved vendor invoices. The individual will perform account analysis, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete month-end closing responsibilities including completion/maintenance of monthly journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts in detail by a set deadline
Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, including analyzing variances compared to budget and prior year
Research balance sheet account reconciling items for resolution and review for compliance
Prepare accurate and timely bank account reconciliation within established deadlines, including researching and resolving reconciling items
Work with Operations teams, assisting them with accounting related service issues
Contribute to preparation of business presentations for all levels of management
Participate in annual budget process
Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decisions
Act as backup to other team members during time off
Assist with other special projects, as assigned Required Experience:
2+ year of Accounting experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
Pursuing CPA designation is preferred
