Sr. Financial Analyst Jobs

DESTACO is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst at our Red Wing, MN facility where we manufacture high precision, customized solutions for various Nuclear and Life Science applications. What You’ll Do

• Manage the standard cost update process.
• Provide monthly forecast projections including sales, bookings, expense, and investment analysis used to drive site business decisions.
• Review continuous improvement cost savings and return on investment calculations for capital expense authorization requests.
• Collaborate with others to standardize and improve site reporting and analyses.
• Serve as financial business partner to site leadership team.
• Support site monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities as needed, including account reconciliation reviews.
• Ensure internal controls and accounting procedures are being adhered to within site operations.
• Prepare, review, and publish operating metrics to monitor business performance.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly review package to management team.
• Manage reporting on and control site cost factors of labor, material utilization, overhead and freight versus forecast targets.
• Provide analysis on variances to plan, forecast, and prior periods.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment with excellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel. Proficient with Word and Power Point.
• Ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of information in area of responsibility.
• Strong ERP experience, such as Oracle, preferred.
• Cost accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
