Job Description

Seeking an experienced and dedicated Junior Business Analyst to join our team, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This unique role requires a dynamic professional who is adept in using Power BI and possesses strong general consulting skills. We are looking for someone who can not only take on the following responsibilities but thrive in doing so.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with a range of tasks, including the creation of dashboards using Power BI to enhance the visualization of data.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to the Quality Management System (QMS).
  3. Support the strategic planning efforts for the expansion of the ISO 9001 certification.
  4. Work closely with senior analysts and project leaders to ensure successful project outcomes, including training, timeline management, and milestone achievement.
  5. Bring any ISO9000 experience to contribute to our ongoing improvement processes.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of new projects and initiatives within the department.
  7. Provide analytical support for various other strategic initiatives as needed.
  8. Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Minimum of 2-year experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government contracts and stakeholders.
  • ISO9000 experience.
  • Certification in Business Analysis or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL or other querying languages.
