Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jira Administrator Consultant to join our team. As a Jira Administrator Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing our customer's existing Jira installation, working closely with their IT department, and implementing improvements to enhance the usage of the application for project teams. Your expertise in Jira will be crucial in ensuring efficient and effective project management processes.


Responsibilities :

  • Develop and deliver training sessions to promote effective usage of Jira within the organization.
  • Identify areas of improvement and recommend best practices for utilizing Jira for project management.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, administrators, and end-users.
  • Assess the current-state Jira configuration and usage within the customer's organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Jira features, updates, and industry trends to provide proactive recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Customize and configure Jira to align with the customer's unique project management workflows and needs.
  • Collaborate with the customer's IT department to understand their specific requirements and project management processes.
  • Implement changes and enhancements to optimize Jira's capabilities, ensuring the system operates smoothly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Jira with other systems and tools used for project management.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator (ACP-JA) or similar are highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in assessing, configuring, and customizing Jira to meet specific project management requirements.
  • Extensive experience as a Jira Administrator, preferably in a consulting or similar client-facing role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to Jira administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Jira's features, configurations, and administration capabilities.
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with IT departments and project teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Ability to conduct training sessions and create comprehensive documentation.
