Seacrest Southwest is currently seeking a full time Maintenance Technician for luxury waterfront condominium.

This is a 40 hour per week position.

OPERATING SKILLS:

• Daily cleaning of all common areas (pool deck, pool furniture, stairwells, elevators, carports, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Strong customer service, communication both orally and in writing, and interpersonal skills required.
• Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.
• Must accompany pest control vendor bi-monthly and provide access to each unit
• Plan and organize work to meet schedules and timeliness deadlines.
• Occasional minor projects such as painting exterior light fixtures, doors.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Perform duties relating to refuse container removal cleaning
• Follow good health and safety principles.
• Responsible for bi-monthly unit inspections
• Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical and plumbing.

Knowledge/Abilities:

• Operational characteristics, services and activities of an on-site condominium association maintenance program
• Knowledge of the location and method of operation of the potable water shutoff valves for each building
• Occupational hazards and standard health and safety practices
• Knowledge of location and operation of the electrical switches controlling the outdoor lights, main electrical panels for each building and electrical supply to the site
• Methods, materials, equipment and tools used in the repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment
• Principles and practices of general building inspection
• Knowledge of the location and method of operation of the irrigation shut off valves

• Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions
• Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level
• Maintain a valid Florida driver's license
• Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time; be able to reach overhead; have a full range of mobility in the upper and lower body
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment up to 50 lbs. occasionally to complete assigned job tasks

Required Experience:

• Condo Maintenance: 1 year (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
