Maintenance Technician

4 Openings Rotating Shifts

• 1-day shift: 8 am - 8 pm Eastern.
• 3-night shift: 8 pm - 8 am Eastern.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education Required

• High school diploma or GED

Training And Specialized Knowledge Required

• Basic understanding of science and physics as it pertains to manufacturing practices.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of industrial production systems and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Required Experience:

• 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Required Travel:

• Minimal travel required for training and cross-training at other facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Add chemicals to tanks as needed
• Daily logs of all wastewater equipment
• Collect, analyze, and report wastewater samples
• Available to work 8 hours shifts nights and weekends as needed. Some overtime is required.
• Complete End of Shift Report and E-mail appropriate individuals
• Operate pumps and valves
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance of wastewater equipment
• Must be able to work independently and multi-task
• Clean equipment and building
• Trouble shooting of wastewater and operational issues
• Trash disposal
• Communicate with Maintenance and Engineering Personnel to address wastewater issues
• Load/unload trucks and bins
• Complete Wastewater paperwork
• Contact EHS Leader/Director of EHS/Plant Manager to alert them of Wastewater plant issues
• Data entry into company database
• Operate forklift (forks & clamps) throughout the facility
• Identify, apply, store chemicals throughout the facility

Preferred Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience installing and maintaining process equipment and piping.
• 1-3 years of experience with welding.
• 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting mechanical systems.
