This position will be responsible for the planning effort associated with AMMM Material Kits,, including:

• Experience and ability to anticipate, identify, process and recover material kit shortages
• Work with Tech Pubs to improve the alignment of the Kit List with the MBOM/OBOM, and reduce the amount of Kit List revisions
• Assist with investigating MBOM errors in kits (check MBOM against EBOM)
• Experience and ability to plan/process material kit requirements while liaising with the 'planner of record' on an as needed or exception basis
• Ability to facilitate the establishment of new material Top Kits and Sub-kits in SAP
• Manage Kit Changes and Redline updates by managing cut-ins for changes
• Liaise between Kit Management and MRP Planning to help co-ordinate OBOM maintenance
• Request and Manage corrections to Top Kits and Sub-kits in SAP
• Process location transfers of Top Kits and Sub-kits between Kitting Locations

This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.
Basic Qualifications:

• Customer Service skills. Able to effectively and professionally represent Kit Management to our customers and stakeholders
• Extensive experience with the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly the use of Excel and Power Point in the preparation of graphs, charts and presentations
• Must be able to work well with others to gather and analyze data and to accomplish complex tasks
• Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
• Self Starter, desire to succeed.

Desired Skills:

• Candidate must possess excellent communication skills (Written and Speaking) and have the ability to multitask and adapt easily in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system, particularly the use of reporting capabilities to gather data for compiling performance metrics
• Extensive background and experience in the supply logistics, supply chain management, and 3PL
• General knowledge of the Department of Defense Supply System would be helpful

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
