The Boeing Global Services - Government organization has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Procurement Analyst (Entry Level) to join the Supplier Management team located in Dallas, TX.
The successful candidate will support procurement activities for aftermarket repair services in support of defense platforms in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location: Dallas, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
- Executes expedite requests based on program needs.
- Assists in the development and deployment of internal/external process improvements, organization initiatives and projects/procurement activities.
- Works with suppliers to ensure purchase orders are fulfilled and closed and reaches its destination to meet program / customer demands.
- Updates the procurement system with the most recent supplier inputs and status.
- Supports the coordination and tracking of action items to resolve purchase order constraints with internal stakeholders and supplier.
- Coordinates schedule changes with Procurement Agents for contractual changes to the purchase orders.
- Effectively manages priorities for a high volume of government repair orders.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Knowledgeable in Access and Data Analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
Typical Education and/or Experience:
- Related work experience, relevant military experience, or advanced degree preferred, but not required.
