This is a great opportunity to jump-start your career with a leading Global Financial Firm in Dallas, TX! This prestigious firm is seeking to hire a Investment Analyst to join their Securities Division. The ideal candidate with be able to problem solve and use their creative thinking skills, while adapting quickly to ever changing demands. They will also need to showcase professional communication while collaborating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, cross functional teams, and internal/external clients.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with external clients to ensure timely execution of confirmations and resolve all outstanding queries on documentation.
• Partner with Trading and other Operations teams to provide commentary on legal language and insight for long-term support requirements
• Build and maintain a strong business relationship with derivative trading desks and ensure that their queries and requests are appropriately addressed.
• Ensure control measures are in place and applied to support existing and new structured transactions
• Prepare and review legal documentation of non-standard derivative trade documentation with Trading, Legal and outside counsel.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills. Essential for interacting at all levels, across business disciplines and regions
• Bachelor’s degree
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of completing tasks
• Ability to multitask and handle large volumes of work at a fast pace
• Ability to dissect a problem and provide clear and concise explanations to clients and colleagues
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Works well under pressure to meet deadlines
• Highly motivated, energetic and confident team player

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project management experience
• Understanding of the derivatives industry
• Experience working with legal counsel and external customers
• Legal documentation experience
