Data Entry Associate I

Reporting to one of the Invoice Processing Lead Associates, the Data Entry Associate will be a key member of a functional Supply Chain team. The role will be responsible for verifying invoice submissions and routing them appropriately for processing.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to vendors where required
• Communicate process improvement opportunities to optimize interfaces, processes & tools;
• Develop action items and drive completion
• Perform any additional functions as required
• If requested, monitor teams invoice workflow volume and status daily If requested, train team and new employees on process and policies
• Participate in team meetings
• Resolve the company’s errors on escalated invoices
• Effectively communicate with Business, Supply Chain Coordinators & Suppliers in the areas of POs, OLAs, invoice processing, eCommerce enablement, vendor master, master data, etc.
• If requested, audit team procedure against policy and processes
• Process invoices and service entries (audit and verify invoices, including checking application of indirect taxes, verifying invoice details, approval signatures and appropriate cost codes) via SAP (FI or MM Module) as applicable
• Follow up with reviewers and approvers to ensure on-time payments
• Complete daily monitoring of unapproved invoice due dates
• Monitor invoices in header error
• Address general vendor and internal queries
• Lead internal training sessions for invoice reviewers and approvers
• Complete rejection and resubmission monitoring
• Complete invoice reconciliation audits with vendors as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• SAP Accounts Payable (AP)
• High attention to detail
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a client focus, team environment
• Strong time management skills
• MS-Office Products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• SAP Workflow (Basic)
• Attention to Detail
• Typing Speed of 50 WPM
• Organizational Skills

Preferred

• 3-5 years-experience related to Accounts Payable, Contracts, Finance or related field
• Excel spreadsheet intermediate to advanced
• Bachelor’s degree

Assignment Duration: 4-month duration.
