Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated L2 Support Engineer to join our talented IT support team.

As an L2 Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of their Microsoft-based applications and network infrastructure.


Responsibilities:


Respond to and resolve escalated technical issues related to Microsoft products, including but not limited to Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex application-related problems reported by end-users, utilizing a systematic approach to identify root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Collaborate with L1 support and other team members to ensure timely and accurate escalation and resolution of issues.

Proactively monitor system performance, network connectivity, and server health to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.

Perform software installations, updates, and configurations, ensuring compatibility and compliance with company policies and industry best practices.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, adhering to security protocols and standards.

Collaborate with network engineers to diagnose and resolve networking issues affecting application performance and user experience.

Provide exceptional customer service by communicating technical information in a clear and understandable manner, both to technical and non-technical users.

Document support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolution details for future reference and knowledge sharing.


Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as an L2 Support Engineer with a focus on Microsoft technologies, application support, and networking.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.

Experience troubleshooting and supporting various applications, such as ERP, CRM, and productivity software.

Solid understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), CompTIA Network+, etc.) are advantageous.
