It Support Technician Jobs

Under the direction of the IT Support Technician Supervisor, the IT Support Technician will provide prompt accurate Level 1 and 2 technical assistance, support, and advice to County employees. This includes interpreting and troubleshooting technical problems, providing technical support for computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Answer telephone and email inquiries, analyze problems by using automated diagnostic tools and experience, resolves new and recurring difficulties. Perform day to day workload assignments from Help Desk software and the supervisor with proficiency. TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides outstanding customer service supporting County owned desktop, notebooks, mobile computing devices and peripherals, and software Various technical research and project assistance as assigned Maintain inventories of technical devices and supplies Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned
