Summary You will serve as a IT Specialist (NETWORK) in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Digital, Information Technology, Analysis & Cyber Dept of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will be responsible for engineering and maintenance of a nationwide, multi-level security data transport network You will perform a variety of functions on a wide range of information management (IM) and information technology (IT) issues. You will have computer system administration responsibilities for Windows, Linux, and Solaris systems to ensure proper network performance. You will prepare documentation and network maps and present reports. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

• Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to the above experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Configuring, installing, and maintaining a security data transport network (to include workstations, servers, routers, switches, and encryptors); 2) Preforming computer system administration responsibilities for Linux, Windows and/or Solaris systems; 3) Maintaining cryptographic devices, including rekeying and general maintenance of devices; 4) Applying cybersecurity polices, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services; 5) Familiarity with configuration management procedures.
