We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to join our team at an MSP (Managed Service Provider). The Service Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to clients via phone, email, remote tools, or onsite, resolving service requests, and ensuring that client systems are functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

- Perform system maintenance tasks, including updates and patches
- Assist with other operational tasks as needed
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, remote tools or onsite when needed
- Escalate technical issues to other teams as necessary
- Install and configure software and hardware for clients as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and technical requests
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive communication and exceptional customer service
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and networking equipment
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work collaboratively with the team to implement solutions
Requirements
- Knowledge of server administration and other technical areas
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent technical skills in hardware, software, and networking
- Familiarity with IT service management tools, such as ConnectWise, Autotask, or ServiceNow
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support or service technician role, preferably in an MSP environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
