0015-IT Project Manager/Team Lead


OCT Consulting is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.


Responsibilities And Duties


We currently have openings for an IT Security Project Manager with a strong assessment background. The selected PM will serve as the project team lead and will be the primary point of contact with our client. You will assume responsibility for managing engagement issues and outline all project work and define deliverables. You will maintain communication with our client as well as the project team and provide technical direction as needed. Additionally, you will be the lead tester where you will have a thorough understanding of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Controls Assessments, the development of security controls, integration testing, and the evaluation of security performance and integrity of applications utilized by our client. You will provide CIO advisory and ISSO Support services to the client. You will be responsible for the management of the entire Security Testing and Evaluation program as well as performing the duties of the Lead Tester/Assessor.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Overall management of the team
  • Reviewing Pen Test results and provide guidance and subject matter expertise
  • Providing expertise, guidance, and reviews on FedRAMP products and services
  • Being a subject matter expert and provide CIO Advisory services
  • Ensuring that all deliverables meet the quality standards and performance requirements
  • Providing ISSO Support services for all FISMA systems
  • Participating in Security Controls Assessments of FISMA systems and applications
  • Performing security testing and reviews of application design, source code and deployments
  • Providing support to systems assessment and authorization activities
  • Conduct reviews of assessment artifacts
  • Preparation of standardized system assessment reports


Requirements


Qualifications and Skills


Certifications:


  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Google Project Management Certification
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Federal IT Security Professional (FITSP) Auditor (FITSP-A)


Education


  • Eight (8) or more years of Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) related experience (mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field (mandatory)


Other
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check
  • Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance.

We are looking for an Payroll and Administrative Coordinator to join our close-knit start up COBS USA Team and who is passionate about providing exceptional HR support and services to our stakeholders and support team members in alignment with strategic business objectives. This posittion will play a key role in providing support and administration for COBS USA Support Team, as well as processing and accounting for payroll, and coordinating full cycle Accounts Payable responsibilities. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Providing front-line contact and administration for COBS Bread USA Support Team
  • Assisting Accountant with Month End Reporting items
  • Project and Event Support - Coordinate and prepare Regional Events including conferences (may include travel booking), forums, bread shows, scheduled meetings and miscellaneous functions
  • Providing administrative support to non-operational departments, including but not limited to, finance and accounting support , minutes for meetings, insurance program billings and certificates, banking and new bakery setups
  • Accounting for company’s payroll and related items in general ledger
  • Other duties and end-to-end projects as required
  • Effective management of all Full Cycle Accounts Payable responsibilities including but not limited to Amex Processing, monthly and bi-weekly supplier payments and supplier management etc
  • Processing payroll and statutory reporting for all Bakery and Corporate Employees; weekly and bi-weekly payroll
  • Coordinate couriers and supplies as needed
  • Maintaining the payroll database


Requirements

  • Office management or administration is preferred
  • Knowledge of US employment regulations and requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivated, ability to work well autonomously and amongst a close-knit team
  • Quick to learn a variety of systems and software
  • High attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and driven by a fast-pace environment
  • Experience in statutory reporting and remittances across multiple states
  • Post-secondary/diploma studies in Payroll
  • Tenacious in driving yourself and others to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate MS Excel Skills, Outlook and Word
  • 1-2 years payroll processing experience for minimum of 50 employees
  • Demonstrated strong skills in managing competing priorities while meeting deadlines
