Overview


Practising Law Institute ("PLI"), an innovative leader in legal education programs and services, is searching for a technology professional to fill the role of IT Mobile Business Analyst. Your responsibilities as IT Mobile Business Analyst:

  • Scope, elicit, analyze and document business requirements for both new and existing applications. The Business Analyst will conduct end-to-end requirements gathering, impact analysis and document user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, business rules, functional requirements, and others as needed.
  • Coordinate closely with DevOps team to support continuous delivery.
  • Business Analysis
  • Analyze and evaluate the needs of stakeholders, and accordingly, any products, services, systems, processes, or workflows affected by those needs.
  • Drive the resolution of issues identified during the analysis, design and testing phases.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Support DevOps
  • Scrum Management
  • Drive the development pipeline by performing business analysis, developing user stories, documenting As-Is and To-Be processes/workflows, managing UAT and supporting feature releases and training.
  • Help shape product roadmaps that will be crucial in the transforming and accelerating of business results.
  • Conduct hands on testing using mobile devices and/or simulators to troubleshoot issues or access product enhancements
  • Evaluate and draw conclusions from data related to customer behavior.
  • Conduct quality assurance with Behavior Driven Development ("BDD") approach to validate working/viable software. Perform regression tests and participate in Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Quality Assurance
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow-through on all assigned features to ensure they are ready for release within the allotted sprint.
  • Application Support
  • Drive proof of concept evaluation for new ideas and business proposals.
  • The Business Analyst will work closely with business, product, and technology teams through the entire software development process to ensure successful delivery of products and feature enhancements.
  • Investigate, analyze and prioritize activities to support IT maintenance and enhancement efforts.

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • Proactive, self-motived, highly organized, curious, and creative.
  • Experience working end-to-end Mobile Applications projects, including app testing and app release cycle
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud, NetSuite, Google Analytics, and Mongo database is a plus.
  • Must demonstrate superior analytical ability with logic, reasoning, and attention to detail. Ability to investigate and analyze data with appropriate tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce is required. Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform.
  • Proficient mastery of databases, SQL, HTML, XML, Jira and Confluence is necessary.
  • Experience with gathering and documenting end-to-end requirements. Ability to create Use Cases, User Stories, workflows, and Business Process Models.
  • Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with business and IT teams.
  • Work experience in an agile development environment is required. Candidate must have the know-how to execute a project using agile methodologies, software, and tools.
  • Experience working on IOS and Android applications
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • 5+ years IT/IS business analysis experience. Experience in the professional accreditation or legal industry a plus.
  • Experience with developing test plans/scripts.

Compensation Range for this position

$108,000 - $114,000 per annum
