Position Overview

As an Investment Banking Analyst in our clients Energy Group, you will play a crucial role in executing financial transactions and providing strategic advisory services to our clients in the energy sector. You will work closely with senior bankers, gain exposure to high-profile deals, and have the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct due diligence, assess risks, and develop comprehensive financial models.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments in the energy sector.
• Participate in client meetings and interact with senior professionals within the organisation.
• Contribute to the development of client relationships and the growth of the energy practice.
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction-related documents.
• Conduct financial analysis, including valuation modelling, financial statement analysis, and industry research, to support the execution of M&A and financing transactions.

Qualifications

• Strong academic performance with a proven record of excellence.
• Enthusiasm for the energy sector and a desire to develop expertise in this industry.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• 1+ year of experience in investment banking is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
