Investment Banking Analyst - Climatetech

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join a boutique investment bank as an Investment Banking Analyst, specializing in ClimateTech. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial and strategic advisory services to clients within the fast-growing ClimateTech sector. Your expertise in sustainable and environmentally conscious technologies, coupled with your strong financial acumen, will play a vital role in executing transactions and delivering exceptional client solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Industry Presentations: Contribute to the preparation of industry presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials tailored specifically to the ClimateTech sector. Assist in the development and delivery of presentations to clients, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior bankers, analysts, and associates, to ensure seamless execution of projects and deliverables. Collaborate with colleagues on industry-specific initiatives, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence, to evaluate potential investment opportunities and assess the financial performance of companies within the ClimateTech sector.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, investors, and strategic partners in the ClimateTech sector. Prepare market analysis reports and identify key trends, competitive landscapes, and investment opportunities.
• Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with senior bankers to develop and maintain relationships with clients within the ClimateTech sector. Participate in client meetings, conference calls, and due diligence sessions to gather information and support the overall client relationship management process.
• Transaction Execution: Assist in the execution of various investment banking transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, IPOs, and other strategic advisory assignments. Support senior bankers in deal origination, preparation of pitch materials, client presentations, and transaction documentation.
• Sector Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the ClimateTech sector, including renewable energy, clean technology, carbon capture, sustainable agriculture, and other related industries. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. Additional qualifications such as an MBA or CFA designation are preferred but not mandatory.
