Investment Banking Associate | Consumer

Our team is partnering with a bespoke Boutique in Los Angeles focused on Beauty and Fashion in Los Angeles looking to add an Associate to their team. This team is comprised of sharp individuals, and focuses primarily on cross-border transactions.

The ideal candidate is a current Investment Banking Associates coming from Boutique/Middle Market firms with 2+ years of M&A experience, and Consumer backgrounds preferred (but not required).

Responsibilities:

As an Investment Banking Associate, you will play a pivotal role in executing financial transactions and providing strategic advisory services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Conducting thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential deals, including valuation modeling, financial statement analysis, and industry research.
• Creating detailed financial models, projections, and transaction documents to support deal negotiations and execution.
• Managing project timelines, coordinating due diligence efforts, and ensuring smooth execution of transactions.
• Collaborating with senior team members to develop and execute strategic financial solutions for clients, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other complex transactions.
• Participating in client meetings and calls, providing insightful recommendations and analysis.
• Assisting in the preparation of pitch materials, presentations, and client communications.

Qualifications:

• Years of relevant experience in investment banking or related financial services.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant financial software.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. Master's degree/MBA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
