Job Description

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, engineers, you will support the design, development and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, planning, and inventory skills. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, trend, and report material management KPIs to track performance.
  • Work with Quality and Purchasing teams to resolve items with procurement and quality issues. Follow up with purchase team for returns (warranty, RMA).
  • Assist in the implementation of a robust materials management process that reflects best practices, to include material purchasing, handling, storage, control, and distribution of MRO inventory.
  • Kit parts to work orders. To include physically pulling, packaging, labeling and electronically transacting parts from inventory.
  • Locate the correct parts efficiently and distribute to production or maintenance personnel.
  • Process purchase requisitions and place purchase orders as needed.
  • Inspect and receive parts returning to stock from work orders.
  • Prepare purchase orders for parts/equipment.
  • Perform cycle and annual inventory counts in accordance with count schedule. Research discrepancies in cycle and inventory counts.
  • Keep track of all products and supplies, ensuring that stock is organized, and may assist in the unloading and processing of deliveries.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas following company policies and industry best practices (5S).
  • Identify critical spares in inventory. Locate and label parts.
  • Assure all materials and tools properly charged out.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years of experience within the manufacture industry.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and familiar with Inventory software (Maximo preferred)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field preferred.
