Job Description
  • The main function of the Inventory and Fleet Supervisor is to ensure the shop and fleet are properly organized to be able to fully support operational requirements. This includes detailed equipment tracking, maintenance on equipment, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.

 

  • Sign equipment in and out from inventory using the designated inventory control system
  • Maintain inventory control system including verifying all records are up to date at all times
  • Report any deficiencies in operational and policy level non-conformances to the Project Manager or Operations Manager as applicable
  • Manage overall shop organization
  • Manage the GeoTab system including employee coaching and disciplinary actions with assistance from Human Resources and local Managers
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and promote a positive attitude towards Co-workers.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are being followed at all times in the shop and while operating the fleet and company equipment
  • Provide assistance for shipping and receiving and goods received
  • Load and unload customer parts utilizing a fork truck
  • Maintain current inventory supplies including consumables
  • Manage the company fleet including vehicle tracking and maintenance records for the East Region
  • Be proficient with standard computer software (such as MS Office Suite) and be able to write detailed inspection reports while maintaining an organized system of files.
  • Inspect equipment and tag appropriately for maintenance
  • Order supplies / consumables and keep inventory organized
  • Notify Management of low inventory, including equipment and consumables

 

  • BA/BS in Business Administration preferred.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing fleet and fuel programs for a service provider operating across the US with many different service lines.
