Job Description


SMG has embarked on a multi-year Sales Transformation Journey that will empower and equip our sellers to better serve our customers, capture customer loyalty, and support Intel's 100B growth target. The Sales Excellence team is chartered to lead this transformation working across SMG and Intel. The Sales Incentives team, part of Sales Excellence, is responsible for developing and implementing sales incentive plans that are as follows:

  • Pay for persuasion, influence, and performance


As the Sales Territory and Quota Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and innovating Territory and Quota operations at Intel. This includes defining and driving the end-to-end operations for Territory and Quota Planning during Intel's 6-month account selection and quota setting process. This leader will tackle complex sales motions, account selection, seller-to-account mapping and quota setting policies to, in collaboration with IT partners, define business requirements to select and implement best-in-class Territory and Quota systems and tools.


Responsibility may include but not be limited to:

  • Create and support an ongoing quota change management and exception process
  • Interpret Total Addressable Market (TAM) data
  • Knowledgeable in the use of historical quota setting and attainment data
  • Plan territories, normalize the degree of quota difficulty and opportunity between them
  • Ensure a full cascade of quotas, with or without level-specific over-assignments
  • Familiarity with CRM and forecasting and pipeline management processes and data application
  • Provide sales operational support, including but not limited to reporting, territory management, territory design, account, and opportunity management
  • Plan, communicate and manage an overall timeline for cascading and assigning quotas
  • Plan territories, normalize the degree of quota difficulty and opportunity between them

Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, HR, or any related field with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of sales incentive management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CRM and forecasting/pipeline management processes and data application
  • Strong Excel experience - including modeling
  • Familiarity with Varicent, Anaplan or other Territory and Quota Management (TQM) solutions
  • Knowledgeable in the use of historical quota setting and attainment data

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $127,260.00-$203,620.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
