Remote Position
Compensation: Up to $70,000,00 per year based on past work experience and skill set
Ozark Hills Insurance agency in West Plains Missouri, has an immediate opening for an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative. This can be a remote position. As a Customer Service Representative for Ozark Hills Insurance Agency, you will be working hand in hand with our Insurance Agents to help existing and new clients find and secure personal, business, or agricultural insurance. As an independent insurance agency, we work with many different insurance providers. Your existing relationships with these same companies will be extremely beneficial as you put together an insurance program that meets the needs, wants and budgets of our clients.

As a Customer Service Representative for Ozark Insurance Agency, you will be:
  • Review and handle policy servicing requests (endorsements, audits, Company requests, Certificates, Premium Finance Notices and Cancellations, etc.) appropriately
  • Work directly with the multiple insurance companies to secure the optimal insurance products for our personal, agricultural, and commercial clients
  • Review inspection reports and compare conditions that were represented at the time the binding and take appropriate or needed actions
  • Working directly with in our clients to quote various lines of insurance products.
  • Monitor production, hit ratios, renewal retention ratios, spread of risk, and other production and quality measures to minimize risk and predict future success
  • Communicate properly and timely with all producers regarding submissions and decisions for new or renewal business
  • Maintain necessary licenses to produce business
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the office insurance agent staff.
  • Correspond with our customers to communicate changes to policy, updates, or new product options.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary to produce quotes for production staff
  • Bachelor’s degree or appropriate insurance designations
  • Must be licensed in corresponding area of insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be proficient with productivity software such and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Must have existing relationships with Insurance Providers
  • Ability to develop, foster and maintain an excellent working relationship with agencies
  • Must have knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
  • Legally able to work in the United States
  • Excellent Time Management skills
  • Must be able to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies
  • Excellent Team Playing Skills
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance industry
  • 2 or more years of underwriting experience in Commercial and Personal Insurance
