Job Description

Summary

GE Healthcare has a great opportunity for an Installation Project Manager to support our Imaging Equipment business in St. Louis, MO. With your experience in construction projects, you'll own the implementation process for installing our larger Imaging equipment in hospitals and other care centers starting from the sales order review through training customers on their new devices.
This is a customer facing position best suited to candidates in St. Louis MO or Southern Illinois area.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues, which might impact customer satisfaction and GE operational targets
  • Drive customer satisfaction and process productivity during the installation
  • Act as the primary contact between GE Healthcare and the customer on all activities related to installation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work cross functionally with sales and services teams while owning the project management and implementation process for GE Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to travel regularly including overnight when required
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
  • Minimum two years’ experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of project management experience; or an Associate’s degree and minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Ability to work with and influence team members to achieve mutual goals
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple priorities to meet scheduled completion dates and customer expectations while based in your home office

Desired Characteristics

  • Formal coursework in project management
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with large-scale project management requirements where deadlines are met on or ahead of schedule
  • Demonstrated customer service experience working in a clinical environment and familiarity with GE Healthcare products
  • Engineering or other technical experience
  • Experience in construction or working with the building trades
  • Proficient with design tools such as AutoCAD and Magic Plan
