Overview:
The Carol G Simon Ripple Breast Center is seeking a candidate as the Manager of Breast Imaging. The candidate will be accountable for the effective management and delivery of care to patients and their breast health. This administrative position will ensure efficient operational workflows with key responsibilities to include standardized patient care and promote timely customer access for the breast imaging program. Team building and educational competency-based learning, and support of quality improvement initiatives. Assist the Executive Director & Director with capital budgets for cost centers within the breast center; development of marketing plans; and maintaining knowledge of fiscal responsibility. This position will act as a resource within the Department of Radiology, AHS, and to the community. Attends and actively participates in Breast Steering Leadership Committee and hospital wide councils as requested. Works collaboratively with the Nurse Manager and Director of Medical Imaging, adheres and promote AHS PRIDE VALUES and the policies and procedures of AHS. Utilizes evidence-based practices from the American College of Radiology (ACR).

- Work in conjunction with Radiologists leadership
- Prepares schedules and maintains payroll
- Responsible to meet budgetary targets including operating costs and revenue production
- Responsible for accreditation processes including TJC, ACR, MQSA NRC , DICOE, etc
- Prepare formal performance evaluations,
- Committed to and perform the highest standards of patient safety
- Accomplishes radiology human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling and disciplining team members.
- Meet fiscal responsibilities preparing/managing operating budget
- Collaborates with leadership in planning , monitoring and facilitation of imaging services for our patients
- Create a climate that inspires the team to be motivated and productive, promote professional growth for self and the imaging team
- Prepare the capital and operating budgets
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- High School diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience:
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred
Licenses/Certification:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification required
- Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) preferred
