Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and networks. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our company's valuable assets and information.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve security incidents, including malware infections, data breaches, and other security breaches.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure the security of our company's information systems and networks.
• Provide training and awareness to employees on best practices for information security.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to ensure our company's information systems and networks are protected against emerging threats.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company's information systems and networks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry-standard security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of network security, cryptography, malware analysis, penetration testing, and forensics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with firewalls, antivirus software, encryption tools, VPNs, and SIEMs.
• Experience with Azure and Azure Security is a must
• 3+ years of experience as an Information Security Specialist.
