Industrial Security Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for conducting daily security functions to ensure the protection of firm and government assets in accordance with contract policy and regulations. Provide technical security support to personnel in the areas of base threat analysis, information systems security, communications security support, and security risk assessment support. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Observe and document all movements of classified assets pertaining to operational FMS equipment. Work without considerable direction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to track trend data, draft reports, and produce incident reports if violations occur
• Secret clearance
• 3+ years of experience with industrial security
• Experience with working in remote locations
• Knowledge of COMSEC handling procedures, including proper transportation, security, and management
• Knowledge of NISPOM, DoD, and USAF security standards
• Ability to conduct inventory of equipment, armaments, and technical data
• Ability to travel OCONUS up to 90% of the time
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with providing day-to-day security and security analysis
• Experience with the integration of multicultural environments and regulations through teamwork and social interactions
• Experience with maintaining physical security inspection checklists IAW applicable DoD requirements
• Ability to proofread for grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage physical security data to ensure accuracy and currency including, facility security status, vulnerabilities and accreditations, and security container information
• Experience in working with a diverse team of contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors, within a contractual environment, including Quality Control measures and Safety Standards
• Experience with providing physical security support services to assess and apply the concepts and principles of physical security to protect firm and DoD assets
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
• Ability to conduct administration, monitoring, and management of metrics for secure facility access, maintain databases and all required personnel security documentation, including access rosters and security files

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
