Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Early Career Industrial Engineer. In this role, you will analyze and design sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. You may establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. You will also conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline

Desired Skills:

• Crew planning fundamentals and application, capacity and manpower planning

• Data mining capabilities, overhead budgeting, and understanding of capital equipment forecasting

• Shop floor and workspace layout with consideration of time and work flow, program Earned vs. Actuals (EAC), work measurement and standards application

• General knowledge of production systems and the use of MS Office tools including Access and Project

• Experience operating in manufacturing environment. Strategic planning, union interface experience, above average written and verbal communication skills

• Lean six sigma certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $57,800 - $108,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
