KAYAK is seeking an Implementation Program Manager to join our KAYAK for Business (K4B) product team! You should have experience managing complex programs and thrive in an agile, collaborative environment. The candidate will support K4B implementations with our enterprise customers, ensuring that we deliver a product that meets their needs. This role requires a strong background in cross-functional collaboration to plan and execute technical projects. This role will report to the Director, Product - K4B.
This role is required to be in our Cambridge office at least two days a week.
In this role, you will:
  • Research, diagnose, and prioritize identified issues; track issues through resolution and provide updates to all interested parties.
  • Own and manage the implementation and build-out process for our largest customers from requirements gathering through project delivery. Ensure an on-time, seamless launch of the product and support full client adoption.
  • Scope client requirements based on complexity, level of effort, and timing; work with Product Management and Engineering to translate requirements into detailed product specifications and generate realistic timelines for completion. Ensure that all teams and tools (e.g., shared project plan, Jira) are up-to-date and in-sync.
  • Be the voice of KAYAK to customers and partners. Act as the primary point of contact during the implementation; coordinate and lead requirements and status meetings and convey KAYAK progress to all parties as needed.
  • Advocate for product enhancements based on customer feedback.
  • Optimize and improve the KAYAK program management processes; maintain project documentation.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle: support the development of consolidated project plans, track progress, monitor issues, risks, and dependencies, escalate concerns, and establish a regular reporting cadence.
  • Work closely with cross-functional to build out the product to the agreed-upon specifications and requirements and manage issues or setbacks that arise during the implementation process.
Please apply if you have:
  • Good business judgment, technical background preferred
  • Experience managing customers through complex implementations
  • Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements
  • Ability to balance multiple workstreams and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across different functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, Sales, Account Management) and different cultures
  • At least 3 years of program or project management (or related) experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Comfort speaking directly to customers across a variety of functional areas
  • A love for travel and building great user experiences
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills at all levels of an organization and externally
