Job Description

Serves as the senior lead of designated project teams within Implementation Services team to drive customers through all project management aspects of enterprise care management software implementation.


Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic initiatives to scale implementation and enhance interaction with other internal and external parties; as needed
  • Handle tactical project escalations and messaging to customer
  • Coordinate sales handoff, engagement readiness and project kickoff activities at client location
  • Provide clients with solution consultancy based on knowledge of enterprise product; as needed
  • Track, communicate and derive mitigation strategies for unplanned activities (Risks, actions, product and project issues, and decisions)
  • Project manage multidisciplinary, multi-phased, rapidly evolving projects with rapidly evolving requirements, and parallel work efforts
  • Consistently measure implementation success metrics throughout the project
  • Assist in the orchestration of implementation discovery to ascertain scope and strategy of implementation
  • Identify and support all project change management analysis and generate resulting change requests
  • Support resource managers in optimizing resource allocation against project deliverables and budget
  • Present timely and concise project status communication to strategic and operational audiences
  • Project manage resources assigned to project to ensure requirements, timelines and milestones are met
  • Lead negotiation of tactical project priorities and schedules throughout the engagement
  • Manage client expectation and satisfaction throughout engagement and project estimation
  • Drive all project administration, including but not limited to: project status meetings, time tracking to optimize project billables, project documentation management, resource management, monthly invoicing
  • Perform internal operational process improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate the creation and maintenance of project schedule based on client priorities
  • Support and coordinate the effective interaction between other teams and client throughout engagement
  • Project manage the timely delivery of high quality deliverables in alignment with implementation success measures
  • Focal point of contact for inquiries on project scope, strategy, and resourcing status
  • Monitor and report on progress of project schedule against project budget
  • Identify and anticipate project risks and develop mitigation strategies


Qualifications

  • The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired.
  • Experience managing project scope, priorities, and issues
  • Working knowledge of healthcare industry, insurance or regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelors/Master’s Degree and equivalent experience.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies supporting iterative software development, including full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • 5+ years of experience managing software implementation projects for external customers required
