Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for a festival community coordinator with a passion for EDM, fashion, and music festivals to join our team, grow their experience working in the festival industry, and build upon their passion for community building and marketing. If you’re looking to advance your career in festivals and fashion while working with a close-knit and passionate team, this is the position for you.
- 5% Monitor festival promotional partnerships ensuring all social media requirements are posted on time and ticket giveaways are set up correctly.
- 5% Create the brand’s festival calendar, suggest new partnerships to the Brand Manager and VP of Marketing and organize all festival social media takeovers, on-site events, giveaways, and promotions.
- 15% Attend 6-10 festivals per year with fellow iHeartRaves representatives from the marketing team, unicorn crew, or influencers.Manage festival logistics planning, including travel, accommodations, and team schedule.
Assist or manage on-site festival photoshoots.Assist with festival styling of the team, unicorn crews, and influencers.Assist with on-site festival sponsorship, marketing, and logistics.Manage unicorns, promo teams, and influencers at festivals and ensure they complete their duties.
- 10% Run the iHeartRaves Unicorn Crew program, optimize the selection process, promote the application process, select members for each festival, and coordinate them for success.
- 5% Coordinate partnerships with non-profit organizations and manage iHeartRaves philanthropy efforts, brainstorm collaborations, manage communication with the organization, and orchestrate all campaigns on iHeartRaves website and social media to support causes and foundations.
- 5% Support the Brand Manager in communication and marketing plans for merchandise collaborations.
- 5% Create content as a face of the brand and engage with customers online via social media and at festivals.
- 45% Manage a roster of festival and community influencers, send packages for collaborations and coordinate outfits and collaborations for festival and non-festival content.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable filming social media content and interacting with customers in person and online.
- Ability to work festival weekends.
- 1-2 years of experience in fashion or music marketing, social media, and/or event coordination.
- Must be local to Southern California.
- Excellent written, verbal, and spelling skills in English.
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and sentence structure.
- Ability to travel to 6+ festivals a year.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be able to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Take direction and work closely with the brand manager and other team members.
- Passion for the EDM community, festival fashion, and rave culture.
Preferred Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm PST.
