The 2022 Human Resources Summer Internship supports multiple Human Resources initiatives working with Training & Development using Workday LMS and HCM, and introduces the candidate to Schnucks’ corporate culture.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design and build Competency Courses in Workday LMS based upon recently updated teammate Competency Model.
Assist in assignment of Competency Courses based on teammate development needs.
Leadership and career pathing course design.
Customer service assessments.
Online HR training content in Workday HCM.
Support teammates in-store to complete Talent profile/Development Plans in Workday HCM.
Cross-functional group project collaborating with other interns.
Minimum Requirements:
Required Education: Current and Fall 2022 enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree program, preferably in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Leadership, or Business Management, and completed at least 30 credit hours.
Available to work full-time Monday through Friday 6/6/22 – 8/12/22.
Interest in Schnucks advancement post-graduation.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Some knowledge/experience in human resources, leadership, or training.
Comfortable navigating Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Eager to learn and take initiative.
Must be able to work remotely as necessary.
Displays values consistent with Schnucks’ COMET culture.
Additional Requirements – Internal candidates:
Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks.
Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks.
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
