Job Description
Classification Exempt-Full Time Salary Grade/Level/Range Based on experience HR Generalist job responsibilities Oversee company daily HR functions Manage recruiting, hiring, interviews, and employee onboarding Oversee employee relations and manage employee files Assist managers regarding employee discipline and corrective action plans Conduct exit interviews as needed Administer employee benefit plans including obtaining quotes from insurance companies regarding current year benefits and premiums Prepare and track FMLA, LOA (Leave of Absence), and STD/LTD paperwork Update company policies/procedures, job descriptions etc. Ensure Prince is compliant with all federal, state, and local labor laws/policies in all states that Prince has facilities (WI, IN, and IL) Additional Duties Conduct End of Year Review Process for all employees EEO-1 Reporting OSHA Form 300A Summary Work closely with payroll Plan and organize company events such as: holiday meals, summer meals, etc. Competencies Positive and professional attitude Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills to properly exchange information to team members Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Microsoft Word, Teams) Supervisory Responsibility This position has two reports: Administrative Assistant and Safety Coordinator/HR Assistant Travel Travel to other Prince facilities as needed Education Requirements/Work Experience High School Diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience
