The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with associates and leader. The position forms partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leaders and associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. Key competencies for the role will be the ability to connect, engage, and relate to people at all levels of the organization and manage strategic and tactical deliverables.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship for business leaders to discuss the tactics to enhance employee productivity and retention, employee engagement, and relationships
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with leaders to interpret business objectives and goals, challenges, and the concerns
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains understanding of requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership to develop solutions and programs.


Education and Experience:


  • Experience partnering with leadership teams.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
  • Experience supporting highly-matrixed organizations, desired.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in HRBP related disciplines.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Successful experience with change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change process from strategic planning through implementation and follow-thru.
  • Strong relationship and consensus-building skills necessary to manage projects in a complex matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work with all levels in the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Able to think strategically and act tactically.


Location:


This position could be based out of East Greenville, PA or Holland, MI which is where the team's that they will be supporting are located.
