GENERAL PURPOSE


Provide specialist support to the Human Resources function and/or oversee the human resources responsibilities and activities for the assigned client group supporting business needs. The HRBP Specialist will respond to human resources-related inquiries from employees and management providing policy and procedure guidance.


Essential Functions


Acts as a consultant and business partner to employees/leaders by understanding their unique needs and provide counsel on programs and practices in support of those objectives.


Collaborate with internal and external business partners to support cross group initiatives and lead special project initiatives


Develop plan for remediation alongside employee’s Work Team Leader and Manager following investigation.


Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues and responding to requests/questions promptly.


Investigate employee complaints relating to harassment and discrimination, creating thorough documentation of employee investigations and provide documentation to required parties.


Lead Human Resources focused trainings/presentations for client group as needed.


Learn and maintain working knowledge of client group’s business operations and needs.


Partner with HRBPs and COEs to recruit, hire and onboard new employees.


Performs Additional Responsibilities As Requested To Achieve Business Objectives


Proactively maintain knowledge of current trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources.


Provide data analytics and reporting as needed to support group’s business strategies

Education/Experience


Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or Operations related fields; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.


3+ years Human Resources experience with proficient knowledge of employment/labor laws.


Professional HR Certification preferred (i.e. SHRM, HRCI).


Strong employee relations background preferred.
