Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION-Human Resources Business Partner


SALARY: Minimum: $120,000.00 | Maximum: $130,000.00 DOE


You will serve as a trusted advisor to key players in the aerospace industry as an HR Business Partner within our Aerospace division while keeping a business focus to aid in the implementation of business goals. You will work on unique initiatives that enable the leaders to build the organizational infrastructure (people, roles, organizational design) required to establish and expand a new specialized team within the organization. You will be situated in Mojave, California, and report to the Human Resource Business Partner Ops Leader. Key Responsibilities-Human Resources Business Partner


  • Work together with other HRBPs and CoEs to develop a model where personnel are recruited from within the organization for positions in the plant.
  • Work together with the HRBPs in each region to ensure that PPG's US and Canadian operations follow the same practices. Provide guidance on matters relating to policies and employee relations, including problem-solving and directing and concluding investigations.
  • Be the plant leadership team's valued advisor and strategic partner.
  • Collaborate with executives to develop the ideal organizational structure for a newly founded special purpose organization.
  • Showing crucial executives the method to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) concepts and practices into our operational procedures in order to create a varied and inclusive workplace.)
  • Establish roles and responsibilities for the positions that would need to be filled on this team, and work with the Talent Acquisition CoE to develop a hiring strategy for the plant that includes locating both internal and external applicants while acquiring talent at the appropriate time and cost.
  • Using data and analytics, incorporate corporate, business, and functional strategies into the HR agenda.


Qualifications- Human Resources Business Partner


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field. Masters' degree in an HR-related field or PHR/SPHR certification.
  • 8+ years of Human Resources experience prefer high level of expertise in specialist areas including strategic partnership and employee relations.
  • Interpersonal abilities able to work with employees at all levels of the organization and move from strategic to tactical with ease.
